It’s official, there are less than three weeks until Christmas! The decorations are up, and so is your gift-giving anxiety. Don’t get us wrong, we love Christmas, but we’d be lying if we said that buying gifts wasn’t a little bit stressful. So why don’t you save yourself the late shopping trips and give the gift of great entertainment this Christmas. It’s quick and simple: buy a pair of tickets to a show that your loved ones are sure to love, print them out, and pop them in an envelope. Here's a selection of shows that will make the perfect present for almost anyone. Santa is going to wish that he thought of this first!

The Kingdom Choir

Brisbane | Melbourne | Sydney
We’re willing to bet that someone you know eagerly tuned in to The Royal Wedding this year; if so, we’ve got the perfect present! The two billion of us watching were enamoured by The Kingdom Choir’s rendition of ‘Stand By Me’, so it’s rather unsurprising that they have attracted such worldwide acclaim. This show will make for a wonderful gift, whether it’s for a gospel, royal, or plain old concert lover . The Kingdom Choir will be bringing gospel down under to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Muriel’s Wedding

Melbourne | Sydney
Many people love the extravagant nature of Christmas; the catchy tunes, the questionable outfits (I’m not trying to be overly critical here, I’m just not sure that red is Santa’s colour), and the bright lights and tinsel. Some people even love this kind of extravagance all year around! If this is something that best describes your loved ones, perhaps a night at the theatre is the way to go. Muriel’s Wedding the Musical is headed to Sydney and Melbourne, bringing an addictive soundtrack of new songs plus the ABBA hits that we all know and love. Treat your loved ones (and maybe even yourself) to a night of glitz, glamour, and giggles.

The Ten Tenors

Adelaide | Brisbane | Canberra | Melbourne | Perth | Sydney
The Christmas season is all about celebrating your loved ones, so why not gift them a night of love songs? The Ten Tenors are hitting our shores next May and will be singing a selection of romantic hits. From Ed Sheeran to The Beatles, there’s going to be a little bit of everything. And let’s be honest, everyone loves a good love song . Don’t miss out, there will only be one show in each city (except for Canberra and Perth, who are lucky enough to get two).

Blue Planet II Live in Concert

Brisbane | Melbourne | Sydney
Santa has his reindeer and the ocean has its’ sea life, both of which I’m equally fascinated by. ‘But how did Rudolf end up with a red nose?’ and ‘Why do plankton exist?’ are the questions that keep me up at night.Thankfully the latter curiosity can be satisfied, as Sir David Attenborough has provided us with an abundance of breathtaking footage, delving into our oceans’ most brilliant and bizarre creatures. Blue Planet II Live in Concert ticks a couple of boxes. It features the award-winning BBC television series with one of the finest symphony orchestras, coupled with the brilliant Joanna Lumley as host. Whats not to love? It’s bound to be an outstanding show, so dazzle anyone and everyone you know this Christmas.

Danny Bhoy

Adelaide | Brisbane | Canberra | Melbourne | Newcastle | Perth | Sydney
Santa loves a good belly laugh and we’re guessing that most people you know do too. Danny Bhoy is returning to Australia for the first time in three years, ready to make audiences across the country cheer with laughter. The internationally-renowned comic has a variety of hilarious stories up his sleeve, all told in his signature Scottish accent. You better watch out and you better not cry, unless you’re crying from laughter.
